It's been a while since my last real journal, so here's some updates.HEALTH
Not sure if anyone saw my status post, but I've developed some sort of art-related injury in my right hand+wrist. It's probably carpal tunnel or something similar (boo...). I still need to go to a doctor and get it properly diagnosed. Pain has been preventing me from drawing as much as I used to. It sucks
. I'm looking into getting some sort of brace for my hand, too, since it gets worse overnight >.>;ART TRADES
The two I have left are going to be the last ones for this year (outside of exchanges and possible Secret Santas). I usually don't take too long to finish them (2 weeks at the longest), but lately it's been difficult to get these pieces finished. Communication with my trade partners has also been slow- if either of you are reading this, please get in touch with me when you're able to >.> In the future I will probably limit trades to group exchanges and mutuals only, for real this time.
I have one owed art payment I'm still working on!! It's a fullbody piece, which I rarely draw, so I'm putting a little more effort into it than usual.
I'm working on my gift for the Monster Girl Shuffle group when I have time >.> I know it's due at the end of the month...! Can't wait to see all the cute scary monster girls this year~OTHER
Inktober and OC October are my yearly challenges, so that's what I've mostly been doing with my time. Using a pencil to draw doesn't hurt as much as using my tablet does. Keeping up with daily art is kinda hard, but you can view my attempts on twitter! I wanted to post to Instagram, since I rarely post there, but the post size is fucked up compared to the picture size on my phone (no matter what size I choose, my photos are too big for IG and get cropped badly). It was too frustrating to deal with lol
I want to draw more fan art in general, and maybe experiment with small fan merch like stickers? I love stickers and they're pretty cheap to make/buy, so!! Who knows. It really depends on my hand+wrist diagnosis
